Olympic Boathouse

The boathouse lends itself to graphic images and especially with all the extra colors and shapes present during the Olympic trials.

River in Winter

I enjoy playing with some of my images. I love the graphic quality of this image of the river in winter. Last winter the river was drained to allow for work to proceed on the foundations of the new buildings

Reflections

A clean boat makes for beautiful reflections, as these will attest. I know the boathouse is celebrating the passage of MAPS 3. There will soon be more beautiful buildings to enjoy at the river.

Eight at Sunset

I will be posting more of the works from the Art of the River show this week. This was taken in the afternoon when the water on the river looks like liquid gold.

Practice

One of the junior boats during early morning practice. They are doing a drill, so they are not all rowing. I am looking for good composition and my daughter looks at the technique.
